Morning,

The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (6/3) is expected to be in the range of 5,985pt – 6,100pt, likely to retreat and be supported by bargain hunters.  Meanwhile, yesterday  (6/2), the DJIA closed higher by  25 points or 0.07% to 34,600pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq both ended higher by 0.14%.

The JCI recorded upward swing yesterday, to close higher than 1%, above our expectation, mainly being supported by cyclical energy-based counters.  Coal- mining counters with sensible fundamental is a must in the holding of Indonesia shares, in our view

At the other end, yesterday   the WTI price ended higher by  1.6% to USD68.8/barrel , mainly on news that Iran nuclear deal negotiation with the US is likely be delayed. Meanwhile, the USDIDR  closed  at IDR14,276 vs. IDR14,292 the previous one.
