The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (11/17) is expected to trade in the range of 6,880 – 7,010 points to attempt higher with the support of bargain hunters.
Meanwhile, yesterday ย (11/16) on Wall Street, the DJIA closed lower by 46 points or 0.1% to 34,946 points, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq Composite both closed higher by 0.1%.
The yield of the 10-year ย US ย Treasury Note fell by 9 basis points to 4.45%, while the yield on theย 2-year Treasury bond declined 7 ย basis points to 4.85%.
Yesterday, the WTI futures closed lower by 4.9% at USD72.9/barrel, mainly on demand concerns as the latest data of crude refining throughput in China slowed 2.8% in October to the equivalent of 15.1mn barrels per day from a record high in September. Meanwhile, the USDIDR closed at IDR15,595 vs. IDR15,503ย the previous one.
