The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (7/5) is expected to be in the range of 5,950pt โ 6,100pt ย ย to gain edge within the sideways also on bargain huntersโ support.ย Meanwhile, Friday last weekย (7/2), the DJIA closed higher by ย 153 points or 0.4% to 34,634pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq ย ย ended higher by 0.75% and 0.81%, respectively.
As quoted from the media, Indonesia Finance Minister stated that the country full year economic growth this year is still conditional on the progress the current second wave of COVID-19 control, whereas for the 2Q21, a growth rate of presviously estimated 6%-7% YoY is highly possible.ย At the other end, ย the latest reading on the new COVID-19 cases for the capital city Jakarta still recorded a new high of Positivity Rates of 43.4%.
