ย The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (2/20) is expected to trade between 6,850pt – 6,920pt ย to fluctuate ย and ย supported by ย bargain hunters. The JCI is expected to also still be supported by the latest release of Indonesia current account surplus for last year at USD3.3bn.
Meanwhile, Wall Street Friday last week (2/18)ย ended with the DJIA closed lower by 233pt, or 0.7% to 34,079pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq Composite both closed lower by 0.7% and ย 1.2%, respectively. The yield on the 10-year Treasury note closed lower at a steep 6bp to 1.92%.
Last week ย the WTI ย price closed lower by 0.8% to USD91.1/barrel, mostly trigerred by potential additional supply from Iran. Meanwhile, the USDIDR closed ย at IDR14,339 vs. IDR14,301 the previous one.
