The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (9/7) is expected to trade between 7,180pt โ€“7,270pt ย to attempt higher and is supported by bargain hunters.

 

Meanwhile, yesterday (9/6) Wall Street ended with the DJIA closed lower by 173 points or 0.6% to 31,145pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq closed lower by 0.4% and 0.7%, respectively.

On the other end, the yield on the benchmarkย 10-year Treasury noteย rose 10 basis points to 3.347% yesterday, and the 2-year Treasury yield increased 10 ย basis points to 3.505%, continuing to be in a ย yield-spread inversion trend.

Yesterday (9/6), the WTI price was up 1 cent to USD86.9/barrel, supported by tight supply in the sector despite concern about tight monetary policy and the resurgence of COVID-19 ย spreads. Meanwhile, the USDIDR closed atย  IDR14,885 vs. IDR14,920 the previous one.
