ย The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (10/12) is expected to trade between 6,880pt โ7,000pt to attempt higher with the support of bargain hunters.ย ย ย
Meanwhile, yesterday (10/11) Wall Street ended with the DJIA closed higher by 36 points or 0.1% to 29,239pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq closed lower by 0.7% and 1.1%, respectively.
The yield on the benchmarkย 10-year Treasury noteย rose about 5 basis points, trading at 3.937% at Tuesdayโs market close. The yield on theย 2-year Treasury, the part of the curve most sensitive to Fed policy,ย ticked up slightly to 4.314%.
Yesterday, the price of ย WTI futures fell by 2% to close at USD89.4 / barrel, mainly on a flare-up in COVID-19 cases in China that raised concerns over global demand. Meanwhile, the USDIDR ย closed atย IDR15,362 vs. IDR15,299 the previous one.
