ย The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (12/13) is expected to trade between 6,685ptโ€“ 6,800pt to attempt higher and be supported by bargain hunters.

 

Yesterday (12/12), Wall Street ended with the DJIA closed lower by ย 549ย  points or 1.6% to 34,005pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq closed higher by 1.4% and 1.3%, respectively.

The 10-year US Treasury yield, yesterday rose by 5 basis points at 3.617%, and the yield on the policy-sensitiveย 2-year Treasury increased by 6 basis points at 4.44%.

 

Yesterday, the price of ย WTI crude closed higher by 3% at USD73.2 a barrel, mainly on supply jitters along with Russiaโ€™s threat to cut production which did not offset demand prospects from Chinaโ€™s loosening COVID-19 restrictions. The USDIDR ย closed atย  IDR15,642 vs. IDR15,587 the previous one.
