The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (3/9) is expected to trade between 6,720pt–6,830pt to attempt higher and be supported by bargain hunters.

Meanwhile, yesterday  (3/8) on Wall Street, the DJIA closed lower by 58 points or 0.2% to 32,798pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq closed higher by 0.1% and  0.4%, respectively.

Private payrolls in February in the US increased by 242,000 versus the estimate for 205,000 and above the 119,000 in January, ADP reported Wednesday.

Yesterday, the 10-year United States Treasury yield closed 1 basis point higher at 3.983%.  The yield on the policy-sensitive 2-year Treasury was trading more than 5 basis points at 5.062%.

Yesterday, the price of WTI closed lower by 1.3% to USD76.6/ barrel, mainly on concerns of a higher USD Index against a larger-than-expected US crude inventory drawdown.   Meanwhile, the USDIDR closed at  IDR15,451 vs. IDR15,359 the previous one.
