The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (4/5) is expected to trade between 6,770ptโ6,910pt to attempt higher and be supported by bargain hunters.
Yesterday,ย (4/4) on Wall Street, the DJIA closed lower by 199 points or 0.6% to 33,402pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq closed lower by 0.6% and 0.5%, respectively.
Yesterday investors digested the USโs latest job opening data for February which tumbled below 10 million, for the first time since May 2021. Wall Street had been looking for 10.4 million, according to FactSet.
Meanwhile, the 10-year US Treasury yield declined by 3 basis points to 3.341%.ย The yield on theย 2-year Treasuryย fell 13 basis points at 3.85%.
Yesterday, the price of WTI closed higher by 0.4% at USD80.7/ barrel, mainly on technical consolidation after a spike of 6.3% the previous close.ย Meanwhile, the USDIDR closed atย IDR14,913 vs. IDR14,990 the previous one.
