The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (5/26) is expected to trade between 6,650ptโ6,780pt to attempt higher and be supported by bargain hunters.
Yesterday (5/25) on Wall Street, the DJIA closed lower by 35 points or 0.1% to 32,765pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq closed higher by 0.9% and 1.7%, respectively.
The 10-year US Treasury closed higher by 10 basis points at 3.821%. The yield on theย 2-year Treasuryย popped by 19 basis points at 4.533%.
Yesterday, the price of WTI closed lower by 3.9% to USD71.4/ barrel, mainly on the supply side along with the news that OPEC+ members are divided on further output cut. ย Meanwhile, the USDIDR closed at IDR14,952 vs. IDR14,905 ย the previous one.
