The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (10/9) is expected to trade between 6,840pt to 6,980pt to attempt higher and be supported by bargain hunters.
Meanwhile, Friday last week (10/6) on Wall Street, the DJIA closed higher by 288 points or 0.9% to 33,408pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq Composite closed higher by 1.2% and 1.6%, respectively.
The 10-year US Treasury yield rose by 10 basis points to 4.804%, its highest level since 2007. ย ย Similarly, theย 2-year Treasury increased by 6 ย basis points to 5.08%.
Last week the price of the WTI ย futures climbed by 4.3% to USD86.3/barrel, mainly on an immediate sentiment from a sudden invasion of Palestineโs Hamas to Israel over the weekend. ย ย Meanwhile, the USDIDR closed at IDR15,628 vs. IDR15,601 the previous one.
