𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐚 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐁𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐭

April 2023: a total net surplus of IDR234.7tr

Indonesia’s state budget( or APBN for “Anggaran Penerimaan dan Belanja Negara”) for January to April this year indicated a total net surplus of IDR234.7tr (in Chart 1).

The latest position may indicate that a budgeted deficit of 2.85% of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) can be achieved. On the other end, the state budget has posted a deficit of below the level of 3% (in Chart 8), a requirement only effective this year by law.
