Morning,

 

The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (23/4) is expected to be in the range of 4,485pt-4,700pt,  likely to extend gain amid stronger USSDIDR and oil close.   Meanwhile, yesterday (22/4)  in Wall Street, the DJIA closed higher by  457 points or 2.0% to 23,476pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq both ended higher by 2.3% and 2.8% respectively.

 

At the other end,   the WTI price for June delivery closed higher by 19.1% to USD13.8/barrel.  During yesterday trading, oil price hit as high as USD16.6/barrel but soon retreated along with US weekly inventory increase data release of an addition by 15mn barrels or 9% above historical 5-year averages.  At the other end, USDIDR yesterday close stable to  IDR15.567vs. IDR15.643 the previous one.

 

We advise the following recommendation as for now, for both trading and longer-time investment purpose.
