The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (8/21) is expected to trade between 6,820ptโ6,940pt to attempt higher in support of bargain hunters.
Meanwhile, Fridayย (8/18) on Wall Street, the DJIA closed higher by 26 points or 0.1% to 34,501pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq closed lower by 0.0% and 0.2%, respectively.
The 10-year US Treasury yield fell by 5 basis points to 4.253%, and the yield on theย 2-year Treasury was trading lower by 2 basis points at 4.94%.
Last week, the price of WTI ย futures closed higher by 1.1% to USD81.3/barrel, mainly triggered by the latest release of the US production level. Meanwhile, the USDIDR closed at IDR15,308 vs. IDR15,308 ย the previous one.
