The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (2/7) is expected to trade in the range of ย 7,170 – 7,320 points to attempt higher with the support of bargain hunters.
Meanwhile, yesterday ย (2/6) on Wall Street, the DJIA closed higher by 141 points or 0.37% to 38,521 points, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq Composite closed higher by 0.23% and 0.07%, respectively.
The yield of the 10-year ย US ย Treasury declined by 8 ย basis points to ย 4.087%, while the yield on theย 2-year Treasury bond was also down more than 7 basis points to 4.397%.
Yesterday, the WTI futures contract for March gained 0.7% to USD73.31/barrel, mainly supported by the release of the latest estimate of the US production level by the EIA. ย Meanwhile, the USDIDR closed at IDR15,734 vs. IDR15,705 the previous one.
