The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (7/28) is expected to trade between 6,840pt โ€“ 6,980pt ย to attempt higher and supported by bargain hunters.

 

Yesterday (7/27), Wall Street ended with the DJIA closed higher by 436 points or 1.4% to 32,198pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq ย closed higher by 2.6% and 4.1%, respectively. ย ย Meanwhile, the yield on the benchmarkย 10-year Treasury noteย was little changed at 2.78%. During a release after the completion of Julyโ€™s FOMC, the chairman of the Federal Reserve was quoted that the US economy is not heading into recession given a very strong labor market.

 

ย Yesterday, ย the WTI price closed higher by 2.4% to ย USD97.3/barrel, mainly on supply restriction sentiment along with the US crude ย inventory latest data release of lower by ย 4 million barrels, four times the forecast decline. Meanwhile, the USDIDR closed ย at IDR15,020 ย vs. IDR14,984 the previous one.
