Morning,

The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (3/2) is expected to be in the range of 6,285pt – 6,400pt, to fluctuate and incline higher. About similar to yesterday’s trading, sectors of Property, and  Miscellaneous Industry  are expected to continue to catch-up from their one-year underperformance. Meanwhile, yesterday  (3/1), the DJIA closed higher by 603 points or 2.0% to 31,536pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq both ended higher by 2.4% and 3.0%, respectively.

At the other end, yesterday  the WTI price closed lower  by  1.6% to USD61/barrel against the previous close, mainly on fear of weakening demand from China along with the country’s latest data of manufacturing index which stand at its 9-month low.  Meanwhile, the USDIDR  closed  at IDR14. 300  vs. IDR14.229 the previous one.
