ย The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (3/28) is expected to trade between 6,940pt โ€“ 7,080ptย  to fluctuate and supported by bargain hunters.ย  The JCI today is expected to be supported by improving COVID-19 new cases rate in capital Jakarta city, at 4.9% or lowest since January 18. However, ย ย higher yield of the US sovereign bond might limit upside.

 

Wall Street Friday (3/25) ended with the DJIA closed higher by 153pt or 0.4% to 34,861pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq Compositeย  closed higher by 0.5% and lower byย  0.2%, respectively. The yield on the benchmarkย 10-year Treasury noteย rose by 14bp to close at 2.484%, as investors as investors anticipate a more aggressive tightening from the US central bank.

 

Meanwhile, last week ย the WTIย  price closed higher by 1.4% on volatile sessions to USD113.9/barrel against the previous close. At the other end,ย  the USDIDR closed ย at IDR14,341 vs. IDR14,361 ย the previous one.
