The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (5/21) is expected to be in the range of 5,750pt โ 5,850pt, to fluctuate and likely to gain edge also by support of bargain hunters. ย Meanwhile, yesterday (5/20), the DJIA closed higher by ย 188 points or 0.6% to 34,084pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq both ended higher by 1.1% and 1.8%, respectively.
In the media today, regional bank Bank Jatim (BJTM) ย in the second semester this year, will focus on digital transformation for its products and services to effectively reach the smaller and informal business sector. Pioneered by the nation-based Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BBRI), the smaller and informal businesses on various sectors are the almost last resort for domestic economy to catch up with the acceleration recovery rates in major countries, in our note.
