The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (9/20) is expected to trade between 6,075pt – 6,200pt to ย ย stick around also by support of ย bargain hunters. Meanwhile, Friday last week ย (9/17) Wall Street ended with the DJIA closed lower by 166pt or 0.5% to 34,585pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq both closed lower by 0.9%. Market participants is in a wait-and-see on clues of specific schedule for the tapering of the Fedโs current bonds purchase of USD120bn/month, on the scheduled Wednesday (9/22) release.
The JCI ย today is expected to be supported by the sustainably-improved COVID-19 pandemic management as indicated by another low of 0.9% (9/18) positivity rates of new cases in the capital city Jakarta.
At the other end, Friday last week the WTI price closed lower by 1% to ย USD71.9/barrel , mainly as the US oil facilities in the Gulf of Mexico resumed production after the Hurrican Ida. Meanwhile, the USDIDR closed ย at IDR14,233 vs. IDR14,252 the previous one.
