US Inflation 2022: Softening Yet Still High

The United States (US) central bank the Federal Reserve (the Fed) tomorrow (1/2) is scheduled to announce the decision of the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting about the updated target of the federal funds rate.

The financial markets worldwide at the moment have picked somehow a uniform view that the Fed’s FOMC to increase the policy rate by a more moderate pace of 25 basis points against the previous 50 basis points.
