The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (2/8) is expected to be in the range of 6,085pt โ 6,250pt to fluctuate and incline higher , also by sign of recovery of domestic economy in the 4Q20.ย However, current COVID-19 determining stage as well as natural disasters accros Indonesia may create short term hesitation for bargain hunters. ย Meanwhile, Friday last week (2/5) ย the DJIA closed higher ย by 92 ย points or by 0.3% to 31,148pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq both ended higher by 0.4% and 0.6% , respectively.
At the other end, Friday last week ย ย the WTI price closed higher by 1.1% to USD56.9/barrel as compared ย to the previous close, mainly on both hope of economic recovery and supply curb. ย Meanwhile, the USDIDR ย closedย at IDR14,062 ย vs. IDR14,036 the previous one.
