The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (3/29) is expected to trade between 6,970pt โ 7,080ptย to hold ground and supported by bargain hunters.ย The JCI today is expected also to be supported by improving COVID-19 new cases rate in capital Jakarta city, at a stable and improving trend.
Wall Street yesterday (3/28) ended with the DJIA closed higher by 95pt or 0.3% to 34,956pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq Compositeย closed higher by 0.7% and byย 1.3%, respectively. The yield on the benchmarkย 10-year Treasury noteย fell by 2bp to close at 2.46%.
Meanwhile, yesterday ย the WTIย price closed lower by 8.3% to USD104.5/barrel against the previous close, mainly on demand concerns along with the news of new lockdowns in China. At the other end,ย the USDIDR closed ย at IDR14,360 vs. IDR14,341 ย the previous one.
