ย The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (4/6) is expected to trade between 7,080pt โ 7,180ptย to hold ground and supported by bargain hunters.ย ย The JCI is expected also to be supported by stable and improving new cases rate of COVID-19 in the capital city Jakarta, by the latest data.
Wall Street yesterday (4/5) ended with the DJIA closed lower by 281pt or 0.8% to 34,922pt, ย while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq Compositeย closed lower by 1.3% and by 2.3%, respectively. ย Consistently, yesterday the yield of the benchmark 10-year Treasury notes closed higher by 14 bp to 2.55%, indicating investorsโ fled also from the bond market.
Yesterday the WTIย price closed lower by 1.3% to USD102.0/barrel against the previous close, mainly on demand worries as news ย that Chinese authorities extended a lockdown in Shanghai offset the sectorโs tright supply. ย ย ย Meanwhile, the USDIDR closed ย at IDR14,348 ย vs. IDR14,362 the previous one.
