The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (7/4) is expected to trade between 6,740pt โ 6,880pt ย to attempt higher and supported by bargain hunters. The JCI today is expected to face selling pressures from the fear of inflationary impact to business and the economy, following the release of Indonesia inflation data for June, Friday last week.ย Meanwhile, USIDR in the spot market is currently traded at between 100pts โ 200pts above the central bank Bank Indonesia middle rate JISDOR.
ย Friday last week (7/1) Wall Street ended with the DJIA closed higher by 322 points or 1.1% to 31,097pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq Composite closed higher by 1.1% and 0.9%, respectively. The yield a the 10-year US Treasury closed lower by 8bp to 2.9%.
