ย The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (8/3) is expected to trade between 6,920pt โ7,040pt ย to hold ground and supported by bargain hunters.
ย Meanwhile yesterday (8/2), Wall Street ended with the DJIA closed lower by 402 points or 1.2% to 32,3968pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq ย closed lower by 0.7% and 0.2%, respectively. ย ย ย At the other end, the yield on the benchmarkย 10-year Treasury noteย rose by about 17 basis points to 2.76%, as investors considered the outlook on future interest rate hikes and monitored US House Speaker Nancy Pelosiโs trip to Asia.
Yesterday, ย the WTI price closed higher by 0.6% to ย USD94.4/barrel, mainly supported by news that ย meeting of OPEC+ producers this week that may not lead to a further boost in crude supply amid concerns a possible global recession could limit energy demand.ย Meanwhile, the USDIDR closed ย at IDR14,888 ย vs. IDR14,874 the previous one.
