Morning,

The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (2/2) is expected to trade between 6,820pt– 6,920pt to attempt higher supported by bargain hunters.

 Yesterday (2/1) on Wall Street, the DJIA closed higher by 7 points or 0.0% to 34,093pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq closed higher by 1.1% and 2.0%, respectively.

The 10-year US Treasury yield yesterday fell by 12 basis points at 3.409%, and the yield on the policy-sensitive 2-year Treasury fell by 11  basis points at 4.096%.

Yesterday, the price of WTI closed lower by 3.1% at USD76.4/ barrel, mainly on concerns about supply builds along with the latest inventory weekly data of the US crude,  the country’s decline of refining utilization rate,  and the increase of net imports. The USDIDR closed at  IDR14,991 vs. IDR14,992 the previous one.
