The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (2/2) is expected to trade between 6,820ptโ 6,920pt to attempt higher supported by bargain hunters.
ย Yesterday (2/1) on Wall Street, the DJIA closed higher by 7 points or 0.0% to 34,093pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq closed higher by 1.1% and 2.0%, respectively.
The 10-year US Treasury yield yesterday fell by 12 basis points at 3.409%, and the yield on the policy-sensitiveย 2-year Treasury fell by 11 ย basis points at 4.096%.
Yesterday, the price of WTI closed lower by 3.1% at USD76.4/ barrel, mainly on concerns about supply builds along with the latest inventory weekly data of the US crude, ย the countryโs decline of refining utilization rate, ย and the increase of net imports. The USDIDR closed atย IDR14,991 vs. IDR14,992 the previous one.
