The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (11/14) is expected to trade in the range of 6,750 – 6,910 points to attempt higher with the support of bargain hunters.
Meanwhile, yesterday ย (11/13) on Wall Street, the DJIA closed higher by 55 points or 0.2% to 34,338 points, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq Composite closed lower by 0.1% and 0.2% respectively. Investors are anticipating the USโs Consumer Price Index data for October, widely estimated to be a 0.1% increase from the prior month and at a 3% annualized basis.
The yield of the 10-year ย US ย Treasury Note was little changed at 4.638%, while the yield on theย 2-year Treasury bond fell 3 basis points to 5.03%.
Yesterday, the WTI futures closed higher by 1.4% to USD78.3/barrel, mainly on demand prospects along with the latest report from OPEC showing an upward revision on global demand estimate for this year. Meanwhile, the USDIDR closed at IDR15,713 vs. IDR15,649ย the previous one.
