Stock Indexes in Most Countries Reflect Favorable Sentiments

In the first quarter of this year (1Q23), the Jakarta Stock Index (JCI) recorded a loss of 0.61% (2022: +4.09%).  Meanwhile, index Strait Times Index (STI) in Singapore booked a price gain of 0.23% in the 1Q23  (2022: +4.09%), and the Sensex index in India closed with a loss of 3.04% in the 1Q23 (2022: +4.4%).
