ย The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (8/30) is expected to trade between 7,080pt โ7,200pt ย to gain an edge and is supported by bargain hunters. ย ย
Meanwhile, yesterday (8/29) Wall Street ended with the DJIA closed lower by 184 points or 0.6% to 33,099pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq closed lower by 0.7% and 1.0%, respectively.
At the other end, the yield on the benchmarkย 10-year Treasury noteย rose nearly 8 basis points to 3.11%, and the 2-year Treasury yield increased 4 ย basis points to 3.43%, continuing to be in a ย yield-spread inversion trend.
Yesterday, ย the WTI price rose by 4.2% to USD97.0/barrel, also on data of the US emergency reserves that fell by 3.1 million barrels in the week to Aug. 26 ย to the lowest since December 1984. Meanwhile, the USDIDR closed atย IDR14,887 vs. IDR14,814 the previous one.
