The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (8/9) is expected to trade between 6,800ptโ6,940pt to attempt higher in support of bargain hunters.
Meanwhile, yesterdayย ย (8/8) on Wall Street, the DJIA closed lower by 159 points or 0.5% to 35,315pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq closed lower by 0.4% and 0.8%, respectively.
The 10-year US Treasury yield fell by 6 basis points to 4.026%.ย Also, the yield on theย 2-year Treasury was trading lower by 2 basis points at 4.756%.
Yesterday, the price of WTI ย futures closed higher by 0.9% to USD82.9/barrel, ย mainly on demand prospect along with news of an upward revision of the US GDP growth this year to 1.9% (vs. earlier 1.5%) by the EIA. ย ย Meanwhile, the USDIDR closed at IDR15,229 vs. IDR15,178 ย the previous one.
