The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (12/1) is expected to be in the range of 5,550pt โ 5,700pt, to fluctuate and incline to reverse albeit limitedly. Meanwhile, yesterday (11/30), the DJIA closed lower by 272 points or 0.9% to 29,639pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq both ended lower by 0.5% and 0.06%, respectively.
The JCI yesteray closed lower by ย 171 points or 3.0% ย at 5,612pt.ย This brought total total monthly gain during November to 9.4% (October: 5.3% MoM, September: -7.0% MoM). Yesterdayโs sell off was a healthy correction, in our observe.ย The JCI total current ย trailing weighted-average PER , at 33.5 times, ย is expected to give room for bargain hunters toward the end of the year.
At the other end, the latest weekly Positivity Rates for Jakarta city of 7 day- average ended Saturday (11/28) pointed to 8.9%, or lower compared to the previous week of 10.2%. The latest figure of 8.9% is within favorable range in our note, as compared to the preceeding weeksโ average of 10% -13%.
