The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (12/2) is expected to trade between 6,975ptโ 7,080pt to attempt higher supported by bargain hunters.
Yesterday (12/1), ย Wall Street ended with the DJIA closed lower by ย 195ย points or 0.6% to 34,395pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq, ย each closed lower and higher by 0.1%.
The 10-year US Treasury yield, yesterday declined by 19 basis points at 3.512%, and the yield on the policy-sensitiveย 2-year Treasury fell by 13 basis points at 4.24%. The response of the bond market in the US over data releases of the countryโs economy suggests short-term domination of an optimistic view.
Yesterday, the price of ย WTI crude closed higher by 0.8%, to USD81.2 a barrel, mainly on demand prospect along with the news of an easing of COVID restrictions in China, ย the biggest crude importer. ย ย ย Meanwhile, the USDIDR ย closed atย IDR15,617 vs. IDR15,742 the previous one.
