ย The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (12/9) is expected to trade between 6,750ptโ 6,890pt to hold ground and be supported by bargain hunters.
The JCI is expected today to close to reverse the 3 days of consecutive daily-loss closings.
Indonesiaโs November Consumer Confidence Index data, at 119.1 points is expected to lend support to the JCI today, also.ย Novemberโs level is lower as compared to the previous month 120.3 points but higher than that in September at 117.2 points during which time when the government increased subsidized fuels.
Yesterday (12/8), Wall Street ended with the DJIA closed higher by ย 184ย points or 0.6% to 33,598pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq closed higher by 0.8% and 1.1%, respectively.
The 10-year US Treasury yield, yesterday rose by 8 basis points at 3.49%, and the yield on the policy-sensitiveย 2-year Treasury was higher by 10ย basis points at 4.316%.
