To a certain extent, Indonesia somehow benefits from the conflict of Russia and Ukraine (and the US), through in example of higher commodity prices. However, a fear of full-blown war is expected trigger selling pressures to the JCI. Yesterday, the yield of the benchmark 10-year Indonesia government bond closed lower by 2bp to 6.501% to reflect ย investorsโ favor also on the countryโs fixed income product.
Wall Street yesterday (2/23) ended with the DJIA closed lower by 465pt or 1.4% to 33,132pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq Composite both also lower by 1.8%, and 2.6% respectively. In addition, the yield of 10-year US Treasury note closed higher by 4bp to 1.986% yesterday. ย The US holders of financial products seemed to flee the market at the moment of current higher riks.
