ย The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (2/25) is expected to trade between 6,760pt – 6,880pt ย to have technical reverse ย and ย supported by ย bargain hunters. Despite massive loss in the Jakarta equity market yesterday, the bond market remained calm with the yield of 10-year governmnet bond closed higher by 1.4bp to 6.515%.
In the domestic news, among others, ย again religion-related unnecessary happening and polemic, this time about โadzanโ or call for prayers for Moslems. This should not have happened should administrator be more thoughful in addressing the matter.
Wall Street yesterday (2/24) ended with the DJIA closed higher by 92pt or 0.3% to 33,224pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq Composite both also higher by 1.5%, and 3.3% respectively. The yield of 10-year US Treasury note closed lower by 1bp to 1.96% yesterday.
Meanwhile yesterday ย ย the WTI ย price closed higher by 0.8% to USD92.8/barrel, mainly on Russsia and Ukraine conflicts have brought real destructive impact on civillians not to mention on the oil and gas sectors. ย ย ย Meanwhile the USDIDR closed ย at IDR14,371 vs. IDR14,355 the previous one.
