Morning,
The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (10/1) is expected to be in the range of 6,240pt-6,325pt to attempt to stay in green higher, by support of stable oil close. Meanwhile, yesterday (9/1) the DJIA ended stronger by 212 points or 0.7% to 28,957pt, and S&P500 and the Nasdaq by 0.7% and 0.8%, respectively. Wall Street cheered iPhone sales data in December last year that pointed growth of 18% YoY to 3.2mn units in China, the main growth area.
Yesterday, the WTI price settled at USD59.6/barrel or almost unchanged against the previous close. At the other end, USDIDR closed at IDR13,860 on yesterday vs. IDR13,934 previous close.
