The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (1/25) is expected to trade in the range of ย 7,160 – 7,300 points to attempt higher with the support of bargain hunters.
Meanwhile, yesterday ย (1/24) on Wall Street, the DJIA closed lower by 99 points or 0.26% to 37,806 points, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq Composite closed higher by 0.08% and 0.36 %, respectively
Yesterday, the yield of the 10-year ย US ย Treasury note was higher by around 3 basis points to ย 4.17%, while the yield on theย 2-year Treasury bond was higher by 3 basis points at 4.38%.
Yesterday, the WTI futures contract for March closed higher by 0.97% to USD75.1/barrel, mainly on supply concern along with the latest US production and inventory data for the week ended January 19 that showed a decline of 1mn barrel/day and 9.2mn barrels, respectively. ย ย Meanwhile, the USDIDR closed at IDR15,719 vs. IDR15,656 the previous one.
