The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (1/30) is expected to trade in the range of ย 7,100 – 7,220 points to attempt higher with the support of bargain hunters.
Meanwhile, yesterday ย (1/29) on Wall Street, the DJIA closed higher by 224 points or 0.59% to 38,334 points, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq Composite closed higher by 0.76% and 1.12%, respectively. The US Treasury Department said it expected to borrow less than previously anticipated in the first quarter, mainly on an anticipated increases in net fiscal flows and a higher cash balance at end of last year.
The yield of the 10-year ย US ย Treasury note was lower by 8 basis points to ย 4.066%, while the yield on theย 2-year Treasury bond was lower by 5 ย basis points at 4.357%.
Yesterday, the WTI futures closed lower by 1.58% to USD76.8/barrel, mainly influenced by demand concerns underpinned by property sector crisis in China.ย Meanwhile, the USDIDR closed at IDR15,825 vs. IDR15,829 the previous one.
