The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (7/26) is expected to trade between 6,860ptโ€“6,960pt to attempt higher in support of bargain hunters.

 

Meanwhile, yesterday ย (7/25) on Wall Street, the DJIA closed higher by 27 points or 0.0% to 35,438pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq closed higher by 0.3% and 0.6%, respectively. The US central bank is scheduled to complete its July FOMC meeting today and announce its latest policy rate standing from the current target of 5.00 โ€“ 5.25%.

 

The 10-year US Treasury yield was trading higher by 2 basis points at 3.886%.ย  Similarly, the yield on theย 2-year Treasury was trading higher by more than 3 basis points to 4.872%.

Yesterday, the price of WTI ย closed higher by 0.9% at USD78.9/ barrel, mainly on demand prospects along with the pledge of Chinese authorities to shore up the worldโ€™s second-biggest economy. Meanwhile, the USDIDR closed at IDR15,007 vs. IDR15,028 the previous one.
