The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (7/3) is expected to trade between 6,620ptโ6,750pt to attempt higher and be supported by bargain hunters.
Meanwhile, Friday last week (6/30) on Wall Street, the DJIA gained 285 points or 0.8% to 34,408pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq closed higher by 1.2% and 1.2%, respectively.
The 10-year US Treasury yield was lower by 1 basis point at 3.841%.ย The yield on theย 2-year Treasuryย rose ย 2 basis points to 4.902%.
Last week, the price of WTI for August delivery closed higher by 0.5% to USD70.6/ barrel, mainly supported by demand prospects along with data suggesting a strengthening US economy. Meanwhile, the USDIDR closed at IDR15,000 vs. IDR15,026 the previous one.
