ย The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (6/10) is expected to trade between 7,100pt โ 7,260ptย to hold ground and supported by bargain hunters.
ย Wall Street yesterday (6/9) ended with the DJIA closed lower ย by 638pt, or 1.9% to 32,272pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq closed lower by 2.3% and 2.8%, respectively. For May US CPI index, economists expect a MoM increase of 0.7% (April: 0.3%), and a YoY of 8.3% (April: ย 8.3%). ย At the other end, the US 10-year Treasury yield closed higher by 2bp to 3.05%, also in cautious monitor for Mayโs inflation data.
Yesterday ย the WTIย price closed lower by 0.3% to ย USD121.6/barrel, mainly on uncertainties created along with the news that Shanghai imposed new COVID-19 lockdown measures. Meanwhile, the USDIDR closed ย at IDR14,555 vs. IDR14,477 the previous one.
