The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (6/24) is expected to be in the range of 6,050pt โ 6,125pt ย ย to stick around within the sideways also on bargain huntersโ support.ย Meanwhile, yesterday ย (6/23), the DJIA closed lower by ย 73 points or 0.2% to 33,874pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq both ย ended lower and higher by 0.1%, respectively.
Despite current uncertainties domestically especially on the management of latest spike of COVID-19 pandemy, stakeholders in the Jakarta financial market may continue to watch and act on individual counter in the fixed income products, equity, and any other products to find bargain and or growth value. It is expected that administratorsโ ย cohesive and consistent grip on the matter will return health indicators to previously good level.
At the other end, yesterdayย ย the WTI price closed higher by 0.3% to USD73.1/barrel , mainly supported by a release of the latest US crude inventories data that recorded a decline of 7.6mn barrels vs. 3.9mn barrels of consensus estimate .ย Meanwhile, the USDIDR ย closed ย at IDR14,454 ย vs. IDR14,421 ย the previous one.
