The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (3/14) is expected to trade between 6,730ptโ€“6,840pt to attempt higher and be supported by bargain hunters.

 

Meanwhile, yesterday ย (3/13) on Wall Street, the DJIA closed lower by 91 points or 0.3% to 31,819pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq closed lower by 0.2% and higher by 0.5%, respectively.

Financial markets are also in monitor for the US February consumer price index isย expected to show a rise of 0.4% last month (January: 0.5% MoM), according to consensus estimates from Dow Jones.

Yesterday, the 10-year United States Treasury yield was down by more than 15 basis points lower at 3.543%.ย  The yield on the policy-sensitiveย 2-year Treasury yield fell 59 basis points at 4.01%.

 

Yesterday, the price of WTI closed lower by 2.5% to USD74.8/ barrel, mainly driven by demand prospect concerns following the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank that also chopped the US equity market. ย ย Meanwhile, the USDIDR closed atย  IDR15,374 vs. IDR15,468 the previous one.
