The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (3/4) is expected to be in the range of 6,320pt โ 6,450pt to be propped-up by positive sentiment from higher WTI close. ย Meanwhile, yesterday (3/3) in Wall Street, ย ย ย the DJIA closed lower ย by 121 points or by 0.4% to 31,270pt, while S&P 500 and the Nasdaq closed lower by 1.3% and by ย 2.7%, respectively.
At the other end, yesterday (3/3) ย the WTI price closed higher by 2.6% atUSD61.3/barrel mainly on the release of the US weekly fuel inventory figures that showed a record-drop of gasoline and distillate stockpiles due to the recent heavy snow in Texas. ย ย Meanwhile, the USDIDR ย closedย at IDR14,334 ย vs. IDR14,307 the previous one.
