The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (5/3) is expected to trade between 6,820ptโ6,950pt to attempt higher and be supported by bargain hunters.
Yesterday (5/2) on Wall Street, the DJIA closed lower by 367 points or 1.1% to 33,684pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq closed lower by 1.2% and 1.1%, respectively.
Meanwhile, the 10-year US Treasury was lower by 14 basis points to 3.431%.ย The yield on theย 2-year Treasuryย fell by 15 basis points atย 3.994%.
Yesterday, the price of WTI closed lower by 5.3% to USD71.7/ barrel, mainly on demand concerns along with Marchโs data on the US job openings which fell for a third straight month.ย Meanwhile, the USDIDR closed at IDR14,703 vs. IDR14,661 ย the previous one.
