The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (2/17) is expected to be in the range of 6,250pt โ 6,375pt to attemp higher mainly on high hope of economic recovery.ย ย Positivity Rate (PR) of COVID-19 daily new case ย in Jakarta capital city is recorded at 16.2%, a fourth-day decline in a row since February 12.ย The latest PR level should be an encouraging fact given the higher tracing-ratio contact into 1:30 starting early February vs. 1 :10 previously.
Meanwhile inย Wall Street, the DJIA closed higher by 64 points or by 0.2% to 31,523pt, while S&P 500, and the Nasdaq closed lower by 0.06% and 0.34%, respectively.
