The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (7/4) is expected to trade between 6,650ptโ6,770pt to attempt higher and be supported by bargain hunters.
Meanwhile, yesterday 7/3) on Wall Street, the DJIA gained to close higher by 11 points or 0.0% to 34,4419pt, while the S&P500 and the Nasdaq closed higher by 0.1% and 0.2%, respectively.
The 10-year US Treasury yield was higher by 4 basis points at 3.862%.ย The yield on theย 2-year Treasuryย rose ย 5 basis points to 4.946%.
Last week, the price of WTI closed higher by 0.6% to USD71.0/ barrel, mainly supported by prospects of the US interest rate hike. Meanwhile, the USDIDR closed at IDR15,034 vs. IDR15,000 the previous one.
