The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today (4/25) is expected to trade between 7,120pt โ 7,260ptย to hold ground and supported by bargain hunters.ย New domestic issues, such as the ban of CPO export might also unfavorably affect the JCI.
Wall Street Friday last week (4/22) ย ย ended with the DJIA closed lower by 981pt or 2.8% to 33,811pt, meanwhile the S&P500 and Nasdaq closed lower by 2.8% and 2.6%, respectively. At the other end, the yield of the benchmark 10-year Treasury notes closed lower by 1bp at 2.9%.
Last week ย the WTIย price closed lower by 1.7% to USD102.1/barrel against the previous close, mainly on demand worries also from weaker global growth and re-lockdown of COVID-19 in China.ย Meanwhile, the USDIDR closed ย at IDR14,361ย vs. IDR14,348 the previous one.
